Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Hold Space Edtech Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Hold Space website, our online and in-person learning programs, and any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws and various other intellectual property rights.
3. Student-Built Projects & Portfolio Use
Physical projects, robots, and devices a student builds during a program belong to the student (or, for online programs, ship as part of the kit the family has purchased). Software, code, and designs a student writes as part of a graded build remain theirs to keep and use.
With the enrolling parent or guardian's consent, we may photograph, film, or otherwise document a student's build, presentation, or graded viva for use in Hold Space marketing materials, our website, and social media. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us — see Section 13.
4. User Representations
By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:
- All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
- You will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update such registration information as necessary.
- You have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Terms of Service.
- You will not access the Site through automated or non-human means, whether through a bot, script or otherwise.
- You will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
5. Minors & Parental Consent
Hold Space's programs are designed for students under the age of 18. A parent or legal guardian must complete enrollment, accept these Terms, and provide consultation and booking information on the student's behalf — a minor is not able to register or purchase a program directly.
By enrolling a student, the enrolling parent or guardian confirms they have the authority to do so and accepts these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the safety commitments described in Section 8 on the student's behalf.
6. Educational Content
We make every effort to accurately describe the features, curriculum, and details of the educational courses available on the Site. However, we do not guarantee that such descriptions will be complete, reliable, current, or free of errors.
All courses, tutorials, and educational materials are provided for learning purposes. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly broadcast our premium educational content without written permission.
7. Program Kits & Physical Materials
Some programs include a physical kit (electronics, robotics components, and related hardware) shipped to the address provided at enrollment. Risk of loss or damage in transit is covered by our shipping partner's policy up to the point of delivery; please inspect your kit on arrival and report any shipping damage or missing components within 7 days so we can arrange a replacement.
Once delivered, the kit belongs to the enrolled student for the duration of, and after, the program, except where a specific program's materials are explicitly described as shared or on loan (for example, some in-person, shared-lab equipment) — this will always be stated on the relevant course page before you enroll.
8. Live Sessions & Safety
Live, instructor-led sessions run on a fixed schedule communicated at enrollment. We ask that a student attend consistently; repeated no-shows without notice may affect eligibility for certification on programs that require it.
Every hands-on build follows the safety commitments described on the relevant course page — for example, no student connects anything to mains AC electricity at any point, batteries used are the protected type, and any step involving motors, batteries, or a relay requires trainer sign-off before power-up. Online students agree to follow trainer safety instructions during any live, camera-on session involving real hardware.
9. Purchases and Payment
We accept payments through standard, secure payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe). You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Site. You further agree to promptly update account and payment information, including email address, payment method, and payment card expiration date, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
10. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A free trial session carries no payment obligation and no cancellation fee. For a confirmed, paid enrollment, rescheduling a live session is handled directly with your assigned trainer wherever possible.
Refund eligibility, timing, and the process for requesting one — including what happens if Hold Space itself cancels or reschedules a batch — is covered in full in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. School & Enterprise Programs
Where Hold Space delivers a program to a school, educational institution, or enterprise under a separate written agreement (for example, a school STEM lab, curriculum licensing, or teacher training engagement), the terms of that agreement govern in addition to, and in the event of conflict take precedence over, these consumer-facing Terms for matters specific to that engagement.
12. Modifications and Interruptions
We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Site at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. However, we have no obligation to update any information on our Site. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the Site without notice at any time.
