Hold Space is a hands-on engineering school for young builders. We teach STEM, electronics, coding and robotics the way a working engineer actually learns them -- by designing, building, testing, failing, debugging and explaining real things.
Our Story
What started as a small workshop tinkering with microcontrollers and circuit boards had one uncomfortable observation at its center: a student can follow a photo guide, watch a robot move, and still not be able to explain why the wheel turns -- because they never had to.
So we built our teaching around a rule that makes that impossible. Every number a student uses comes from their own measurement, never a value we hand them. Every build ends with a trainer introducing a fault on the spot, live -- a working project its builder can't explain doesn't pass. We eventually gave that rule a name: the HOLD Method -- Hypothesize, Observe, Learn & Link, Design & Debug.
