To get the best results, use these four basic building blocks every time you write a prompt:

1. The Role (Who is the AI?)

Start by giving the AI a job title. This changes how it "thinks" and the vocabulary it uses.

Instead of : "Tell me about space."
Try: "Act as a friendly middle school science teacher."

2. The Task (What do you want?)

Be exact about what the AI needs to produce. Do you want a list? An essay? An email? A recipe?

Instead of: "Give me healthy food ideas."
Try: "Write a 3-day dinner menu."

3. The Context (What is the background?)

The AI doesn't know you. You have to give it the background details so it can customize the answer to fit your specific life or situation.

Instead of: "Help me plan a trip."
Try: "I am planning a 5-day trip to Tokyo for two adults who love street food and history, but hate crowded tourist traps."

4. The Rules (How should it look?)

Give the AI clear boundaries. Tell it what format to use, how long the answer should be, or what it should avoid doing.

Instead of: "Make it good."
Try: "Keep the answer under 200 words, use bullet points, and do not use any complicated jargon."
